September Favourites

Hello! I haven't posted on my blog in months as I just haven't had the time so blogging has unfortunately had to take a bit of a backseat buuuut I'm back with a September Favourites post! AS IF September is nearly over. Not that I'm bothered as it means Christmas is just around the corner and I really love Christmas.

I decided to pick up the Herbal Essences Silk n Shine shampoo and conditioner partly as they remind me of my teenage years but also because they were on offer in Tesco and I love a good bargain. I honestly think these two will be becoming my regular shampoo and conditoner as they just make my hair feel so lightweight and soft.  The scent is incredible too and it lingers in your hair until the day after washing. PERFECT!

I'm no stranger to the famous Tangle Teezer but I recently picked up a new one as my current one was getting a tad old.  I picked the the sweet lilac colour Tangle Teezer as it's so cuuute and I've got a lot of love for baby/pastel colours. Whilst I was using my old Tangle Teezer, I felt as though it wasn't having much of an impact on my hair compared to what it used to.  I thought that perhaps my hair was just getting even more unmanageable but I now know that it was because the bristles were bent and it just needed replacing.  You really do notice the difference when you replace your Tangle Teezer and I've fallen in love with mine all over again.

I've also been loving the Avon strand strength detangling spray.  I usually use the kids ones as they seem to work pretty well but this spray is just in a completely different ball park! I spritz a generous amount on to the ends of my hair before hair drying and use my Tangle Teezer to conquer my pesky knots. These two combined are the Batman & Robin of the hair detangling world.  Also, Avon have got the fragrance spot on - it's the most beautiful apricot scent that lasts all day.

I was so excited over the Essence I love crazy volume mascara, to the point where I have literally raved to every girl I know about this mascara.  At £2.80 a tube, I didn't have high hopes for the product but it's as if Essence have got into my head, picked all my favourite things I like in a mascara and squeezed them into a bright pink tube. I honestly cannot fault this mascara, I love every single thing about it. The brush is big so you can pack on loads of product, the 'EXTREME' on the package is not to be taken lightly as the product really does create a false lash effect. Your lashes look super long and so volumised after just one coat. I could go on all day but I'll just leave you with one last comment - I have bought six tubes of this as I love it that much!

The Seventeen Cheek Stamp Blush caught my eye a couple of weeks ago whilst browsing the aisles of Boots looking for something to buy.  The idea of the stamp is really clever and it's not something I've ever seen before.  I picked up the shade 'Bashful' which is slightly peach but looks more like a very light bronzer and I've been really enjoying using it. It just adds a light subtle flush of colour to your cheeks which you can apply quickly if you're getting ready in a rush. I love stamping it on to my cheeks but I do have to blend it a little bit as as you can see from where I've stamped it on my hand above, I'd look like a bit of a clown if I didn't blend it in!

I'm sure you are all familiar with Thierry Mugler's scent Alien and if you're not then you should definitely give it a quick spritz the next time you find yourself wandering down the perfume aisle.  I've been debating whether to get Alien for about 3 years but after 'borrowing' my sisters, I needed to invest in my own bottle. The price tag is quite hefty at £49.50 for a 30 ml bottle but it's quality over quantity with this glorious scent. I'm in love with the quirky, expensive bottle just as much as I am with the floral, adult fragrance.  I'm all about overpowering scents and as soon as my boyfriend smelt it, he said that's a Grace scent. Haha! If I had to pick one perfume to wear for the rest of my life then it would be Alien.

I hope you're all having a fab weekend! I'm so happy to be back writing on my little blog!
