Hello lovelies! Hope you're all okay and enjoying the beautiful sunshine. I attempted sitting out in the garden but I couldn't handle the heat so here I am, blogging instead!
A weekend or two ago, my boyfriend and I took a trip to Milton Keynes for a little spot of shopping to celebrate his 25th Birthday. I experienced my first ever Ikea trip which I was so super excited about. That shop actually amazes me, I just wanted to buy everything I saw and mentally decorated every room of a house I don't even have yet. Does anybody else do that?
I eventually decided that I would just buy a few things that I really really wanted so chose the ever so popular, £20 'Emelina Knopp' duvet cover, The cutest little set of three tealight candles for £3.25 and the sheep in me couldn't resist the blogger famous plant pot that was in fairness, an absolute steal at £2. I've put all my makeup brushes in the plant pot already and have decided that I want many many more. I really wanted those floral storage boxes that everybody has too but I couldn't find them anywhere. Sad face.
I went a little bit nail polish crazy in Superdrug and purchased Rimmel's Salon Pro Nail Polish in 'Ultra Violet', Barry M's Gelly Nail Paint in 'Dragonfruit', a beautiful glitter top coat from Miss Sporty and Miss Sporty's Pop Fiction. I've worn Dragonfruit with the glitter top coat already and I have to say that it's already one of my new favourite nail combos.
I've been wanting something a bit lighter than my usual Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation so I decided to pick up Rimmel's Wake Me Up foundation. I've purchased this a couple of times now and really like it, especially in the Summer as it's not too heavy but still gives a pretty decent coverage. I read so many rave reviews about Collection's Cream Puff lip Creams and picked up this one in Fairy Cake but I can't decide whether I like it or not just yet. Not that I needed a lip balm but the Miss Sporty deal is 3 for £5 and the Dr Balm Lip Balm in Honey Gossip was the first thing that caught my eye. This smells absolutely delightful and I will be picking up the rest of the collection. They are very moisturising too with a slight tint of colour.
Finally, my best friend has just had a baby which obviously means I needed to go into the Disney Store to get her beautiful baby an outfit. My boyfriend pointed out that this mug was on sale for £3.50 and I just couldn't leave the shop without it. I think this was my favourite shopping trip purchase!
